This 2-channel Direct Injection (DI) box / splitter takes a signal from an unbalance source (such a bass guitar) and sends it directly to a mixing desk or recorder without the need for a microphone. This makes it a very useful bit of kit in a wide range of situations, and electric guitarists and bassists in particular will find this an invaluable travelling accessory, as will any studio or live recording engineers. The DI20 is unique in being able to not only convert up to two separate unbalanced 1/4" TRS lines into two balanced XLR outputs but also, at the flip of a switch, to split a stereo signal so that it feeds into two separate amps, which makes it an amazingly flexible tool.
