London Speaker Hire are proud to announce their new DJ training courses.
These courses are aimed at all levels from young to old and bedroom DJ's to seasoned professionals that want to move into the digital mixing arena.
The sessions are held at our East London rehearsal studios LSH Spaces - East (Hackney N7) and there are morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
Each lesson is on a one to one basis (you can bring an additional person at extra cost but only a maximum of two people in any session) which guarantees that we can provide you with the best experience and our skilled DJ's will be working at a pace that suits you.
The sessions will give you hands on training on your selected technology along with take away reference materials. Backed by the London Speaker Hire brand all participants will also receive discount vouchers for equipment hire (on successfully completing the course).
The DJ's running the courses regularly work over Europe and the top clubs in London whilst also having years of experience in the music industry so you can rest assured that you will get second to none training and a unique experience that you will be telling all your friends about.

This entry course is designed for someone who wants to get into DJ'ing but doesn't really know where to start. It will give you the fundamentals of what DJ'ing entails, the different technologies, costs and suitability of different kit such as software based versus traditional equipment.
If you haven't bought equipment and need to know what to look for then this course will answer all your questions. It will also provide you with a platform to then decide which route you wish to go down technology wise and is a great platform to then take one of our mixing courses.

We offer both software and hardware courses for live DJ mixing of tracks. In both courses you will learn the following skills:

A digital mixing course based on a PC or Laptop using Traktor or Virtual DJ.
This will teach you the basics of setting up the software on your machine, what the different components are and how to mix tracks together in a live environment.
You will start with theory training to give you an understanding of the software and the goal before proceeding to using a live system.

This mixing course entails they use of physical equipment including CDJ's, professional multichannel mixers and turn tables.
As part of this course our DJ's can provide Serato training and you can bring your own equipment if you would like specific training on any non-standard kit (with prior notice).
You will learn hands on, the functions of some of the most popular equipment on the market and industry standard in most clubs and bars.

Our Level 2 Dance Music Production course is perfect for when you would like to learn everything in the Level 1 course but you have your own samples and ideas to bring to the table. You will leave with the invaluable knowledge of how to construct your own tracks having worked on your own material.
You will implement your thoughts and ideas and with guidance and advice from a seasoned professional producer/engineer.
